Principle Instrument(Class)

(Voice, Piano, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Brass/ Woodwinds and Drums)

Warm-ups: with scales, reading technical exercises, breathing techniques, stretching etc.

Listening to, rehearse, read, analyze or transcribe, selected music pieces for auditions, competitions, performances, showcases and/or special events.

Work on techniques to push and enhance students by way of Demonstration; address tone quality, utilizing proper embouchure, singing/playing positions, posture, breathing techniques, articulation, and appropriate percussion technique.

Recognize the following ensemble skills through performance of selected music pieces.

Practice etiquette/Rehearse: dynamic expression, style, blend and balance, steady tempo, rhythmic accuracy, intonation etc. Demonstrate all performance skills “at-sight” performance of music literature at the appropriate level.
